La Compagnie, the small all-business-class airline that ferries passengers between France and Newark, plans to resume operations in June, assuming travel restrictions are eased.

The carrier expects to begin flying Paris Orly-Newark early next month. The resumption of La Compagnie's summer seasonal Nice-Newark flights are to follow in early July. Definite flight schedules will be released should the U.S. and France formally roll-back travel restrictions.
La Compagnie suspended scheduled operations at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic last March, resuming them only for a small number of Paris-Newark flights in December. The carrier said it has primarily survived the pandemic with the aid of $20 million in French government-backed loans, along with renewed support from shareholders.
Charter flights have also provided some revenue.
