Japan Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, Air India, China Airlines,
Eva Airways, Volaris and Asiana Airlines are among the nine newest entrants to
the TSA PreCheck program.
U.S. charter operator Eastern Airlines and the small
regional and charter carrier Elite Airways have also joined.
With their entry, 65 airlines now participate in PreCheck.
U.S. citizens and permanent residents can join PreCheck for
five years at a cost of $85. The service is also available to members of the
trusted-traveler programs Global Entry, Nexus and Sentri.
