RyanairAn agreement between Ryanair and Amadeus will enable Amadeus subscribers in markets where the low-cost airline flies to book Ryanair fares and ancillary products, starting Nov. 1.

Amadeus subscribers will pay no surcharge when booking Ryanair. The fares that Amadeus subscribers see will be the same as those on the Ryanair website and other distribution channels.

Agents will be able to book Ryanair’s Business Plus fares, which means flexible ticket changes, a 20-kilogram (44 pounds) baggage allowance, fast track at airports, priority boarding and premium seating.

“For business travelers, corporations and TMCs, this agreement will mean greater access to our low fares and Europe’s largest route network,” said Michael O’Leary, Ryanair’s CEO.

Amadeus said that booking Ryanair in Amadeus will be the same as booking any other airline in the GDS.

In March, Ryanair and Travelport announced an agreement to provide Ryanair’s fares and ancillary services to Travelport subscribers. Ryanair has said that GDS distribution and selling to more business travelers is key to its growth.
