Southwest will make Los Cabos its first international destination out of San Diego, the carrier announced Wednesday.

The daily service will begin April 25.

Los Cabos is the sixth new route out of San Diego that Southwest has announced for 2017. Earlier this month, the carrier said it would begin year-round flights from the southern California city to Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City beginning June 4, as well as seasonal summer flights to Indianapolis, Newark and Spokane, Wash.

With the launch of the Los Cabos service, San Diego will join Los Angeles, Oakland and Orange County as Southwest’s gateway airports to Mexico.
