For customers who pay bag fees when they make their online reservation, the airline will charge $35 for carry-on bags on domestic and international flights, up from $30.

Customers who pay when they book online will pay $30 for the first checked bag and $40 for the second, up from $28 and $35 for domestic flights, respectively.

Spirit had been charging $33 and $40 for the first and second checked bag on international flights, respectively, but the airline will make domestic and international bag fees the same on Nov. 6.

Customers who pay for a carry-on bag at the airport counter will pay $50, up from $40. The first checked bag will be $45 at the counter, up from $38.

Customers paying for a carry-on at the gate will pay $100, more than double the $45 fee that Spirit currently charges.
