TripIt, the Concur-owned itinerary planner,
has partnered with the app LoungeBuddy, giving TripIt users access to LoungeBuddy’s information on
2,500 airport lounges.
TripIt users will see lounge photos, lounge locations and operating hours, overviews of lounge
amenities, and reviews from other travelers. They also will be able to instantly book a lounge pass to more than
100 airports worldwide.
“Airport lounge rules are
complicated, and the amenities, costs and benefits can vary widely from lounge
to lounge. No one has the time or energy to look through it all when they are
at the airport and looking for a place to rest and relax,” Jen Moyse, head of
product at TripIt, said in a statement. “Our new partnership with
LoungeBuddy makes it easy to sort through it all and find what you need, when
you need it.”
Under the agreement, TripIt users will be
able to sync their itineraries over to the LoungeBuddy app on iPhone, allowing
them to receive instant lounge suggestions tailored to their travel plans.
