Unruly passenger restrained with duct tape

A flight crew reportedly used duct tape to keep a passenger in her seat on a United Airlines flight from Puerto Rico to Chicago, according to the Associated Press.

The FBI said the woman, 45-year-old Maria Esther Castillo of Oswego, N.Y., slapped a crew member on the behind and pulled a blind passenger's hair, reported the AP.

The flight was diverted on Saturday to Charlotte, where the passenger reportedly fought with police officers who came aboard the plane.

Castillo was charged with resisting arrest and interfering with the operations of a flight crew.
