Hertz has launched Dream Cars, a program in which customers can rent super high-end cars at about three dozen U.S. locations.
Los Angeles, New York Kennedy, San Francisco and Orlando are among the airport locations that will rent cars sych as the Lamborghini Gallardo, SRT Viper, Ferrari California, Porsche 911, Bentley Continental GT, Porsche Panamera and Tesla Model S.
Hertz has a website, www.hertzdreamcars.com, that offers what it calls a “personalized reservation service” for the program. Customers may also rent Dream Cars through Hertz’s usual booking channels.
A Porsche Panamera at San Francisco's airport can be rented this weekend for about $475 a day, while Hertz is charging about $380 a day for a Porsche 911 in the Los Angeles area.
