CHICAGO -- Indigo, a company that flies public jet charters daily between Teterboro, N.J., and Chicago Midway airports, ordered 25 corporate jets from Brazilian manufacturer Embraer in anticipation of expanding its service.

Indigo said it plans to use the new aircraft for the Chicago-Teterboro route, along with Chicago-Atlanta and Atlanta-Teterboro routes -- services Indigo said it intends to launch sometime in the new year.

When the new jets arrive, Indigo said it will designate the four jets it already operates to private jet charter.
