Direct Travel is continuing its rollup strategy with the acquisition of Boston-area travel management company Colpitts World Travel.

“Direct Travel is back on the acquisition trail, with their eyes on the Northeast corridor,” the company said in a statement.

According to Denver-based Direct Travel, Colpitts’ annual sales volume is in excess of $100 million.

“This strategic partnership allows an agency of our size to gain significant advantage with suppliers and allows us to deliver new innovative technologies and enhanced services to our customers,” Colpitts CEO Alan Krensky said in a statement.

Direct Travel was No. 15 on Travel Weekly's 2015 Power List.
