Australia-based FCm Travel Solutions has formed a partnership with one of Brazil’s oldest corporate travel specialists, Sao Paulo-based Kontik Franstur.
The $120 million family-owned agency was founded in 1945. It also operates in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador and employs 300.
Anthony Grigson, FCm Travel Solutions’ global executive general manager, said FCm selected Kontik due to the high quality of its senior management and staff, and the company’s business systems.
Kontik President Eduardo Vasconcellos said he expected Kontik’s revenue to grow 30% in 2008 as a result of the FCm partnership.
In the U.S., FCm owns a stake in Garber Travel in Boston and owns Bannockburn Travel Management in the Chicago area.
