CHICAGO -- Agents who attend the Travel Weekly Conference 2000 here
will have several chances to hear other agents describe their
experiences creating and operating Web sites.
One setting for such discussions, at the meeting set for May 3
to 5, will be a seminar titled Agents With Winning Web Sites Talk
About Their Experiences.
The moderator, Eric Hosek, product manager, OrbitTravel.com Inc.,
Whitefish, Mont., invited agents with successful Web sites to
speak.
Those retailers are Richard (Rick) Semack, manager, Internet
services, AAA Michigan, Dearborn, Mich., and Neal Dembo, chief
executive officer, Travel Discounters, Gaithersburg, Md.
Hosek said delegates will learn from their peers which designs
and promotions have worked -- and which have not.
They will learn how to apply the experiences of others to their
own situations.
Speakers also will discuss customer feedback on Web sites,
including the ups and downs of dealing with this challenge.
The Travel Weekly Conference 2000 will be staged at the Sheraton
here.
The registration fee for the meeting is $425. The fee for a
second registrant from the same company is $275, and a single-day
