ATLANTA -- Federal Express chose WorldTravel BTI, based here, to
provide travel management services for its worldwide operations.
WorldTravel said it has begun processing transactions for the
U.S. offices from three on-site locations at Federal Express
headquarters in Memphis.
Service for international offices will be phased in country by
country from now until the end of 2001, said WorldTravel.
FedEx's travel services previously were split between two
agencies -- one for the U.S. and one for the rest of the world.
"WorldTravel BTI demonstrated that it had the global strength
and coverage to handle our complex requirements," said Steve
Waring, managing director of corporate travel for Federal
Express.
