Jordan and Kuwait are the latest countries to be removed the
dwindling list of nations subject to the U.S. laptop ban.
Royal Jordanian and Kuwait Airways both announced Sunday
that passengers can carry on laptops and tablets.
Only Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Morocco remain subject to the
laptop ban, which Department of Homeland Security put in place in late March.
The United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey already have been
removed from the ban.
Late last month, the DHS said that airports that meet
enhanced security requirements would no longer be subject to the ban, which it
put in place to counter concerns about terrorist's turning laptops into bombs.
