Aman's Amanzoe resort was impacted by a wildfire on Monday, forcing guests and staff to evacuate the luxury property in Porto Heli, Greece.

Operations at the resort are temporarily suspended.

In a statement, Amanzoe confirmed that the fire "reached the grounds of the property."

However, the resort added that the extent of the fire's damage "is not as bad as initially feared," and that the main areas of the property, as well as all of its villas, remain intact.

According to Amanzoe, damage was largely limited to the exterior portions of some pavilion structures as well as sections of landscaping.

Amanzoe also said that guests with imminent reservations are being contacted and that an update on the resort would be provided "in due course."
