Atlantis opens Bahamian-themed Marina Village

PARADISE ISLAND, The Bahamas -- Marina Village opened this month at Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, offering shopping and dining options in a themed Bahamian marketplace bazaar.

The site has 21 boutiques and retail shops, five restaurants, live entertainment and an arts and crafts collection.

Still to come at Atlantis is the Japanese restaurant Nobu, opening in December in the resort's Royal Towers. Opening in early 2007 will be a 600-room all-suite hotel next to the Royal Towers that will include the first Caribbean outpost of the New York-based Mesa Grill as the hotel's signature restaurant.
