The ClubHotel Riu Negril in Jamaica has reopened after completing a $20 million renovation.

Riu updated all of the beachfront property’s 420 guestrooms with a more modern look while renovating its restaurants, bars and public areas. The resort added Asian restaurant Mandalay and Kulinarium, a Caribbean-themed restaurant that primarily uses local produce.

The resort also has a new play area for children, including a pool with water slides. Meanwhile, adults also have an entirely new pool. The new ClubHotel Riu Negril has a sports bar open 24 hours a day.

Negril is on the western tip of Jamaica, about 50 miles southwest of Montego Bay.

Riu has five resorts in Jamaica. The ClubHotel Riu Negril opened in 2004.
