Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has opened its 75th property, the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, located on the banks of the Mississippi River.
The 200-room hotel is part of Lumiere Place on Laclede's Landing, a $507 million revitalization project that includes a casino, restaurants and retail. Rising 19 stories, the hotel's defining feature is a 650-foot-long ribbon of light wrapping the edges of the building. The lights can produce 16 million shades and an array of patterns, said Four Seasons.
Guest rooms and suites offer sweeping views of the city, the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi. The property's Italian restaurant, Cielo, showcases regional ingredients and handmade pastas, breads and cheeses.
The spa has 12 treatments rooms as well as a couples' suite, relaxation lounges and steam rooms. In addition to the spa, hotel guests have access to a fitness center.
