Four Seasons opened its first sub-Saharan Africa resort with the debut of the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, Tanzania.
The 77-room property includes five free-standing villas as well as four restaurants and bars. The hotel's outdoor infinity pool has views of an elephant's watering hole. The hotel had been operating for about three years before Four Seasons took it over and upgraded it.
