TORONTO -- Four Seasons will take over management of two South
American hotels Dec. 1, increasing its number of properties on the
continent to three.
The additions are the Park Hyatt Buenos Aires in Argentina and
the Madison Resort, Golf & Spa in Carmelo, Uruguay. The hotels
will be reflagged as the Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires and the
Four Seasons Resort Carmelo.
The first Four Seasons hotel in South America, the Four Seasons
Caracas in Venezuela, opened in January.
In Buenos Aires, the soon-to-be Four Seasons has 165 rooms and
is located near the Recoleta district.
Only 25 miles away in Uruguay, the Four Seasons Carmelo has 44
villas and is situated on the Rio de la Plata.
