Hilton Worldwide reached an agreement to manage and brand what the company says will be Istanbul’s largest hotel and conference center.
The Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, scheduled to open by fall 2013, will have 829 rooms as well as about 120,000 square feet of meeting space.
The property will be located in Istanbul’s Sisli district, about two miles from Taksim Square.
Since last year, many companies have either entered the Istanbul market or have announced plans to do so within the next two years, including Starwood, Jumeirah, Viceroy and Morgans.
Hilton’s operations in the Turkish city dates back to the 1955 opening of the Hilton Istanbul.
