Hilton markets guest room merchandise to consumers

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Guests that enjoy sleeping or relaxing in Hilton Hotels guest rooms, now can virtually recreate the experience at home.

Hilton has begun marketing many of the items and amenities found in its guest rooms to consumers as part of its new Hilton at Home program.

That includes everything from the Crabtree & Evelyns La Source bath product line of bathroom amenities to the exclusive Hilton Family clock radio. Even the Hilton Suite Dreams beds -- including mattress, box spring and other bedding items -- are available for sale for the first time in the chain's 80-year history.

"Our guests & often inquire about how they can purchase their favorite in-room items, be it the pillows, bedding, or even the bathrobe," said Jeffrey Diskin, senior vice president of brand management & marketing for Hilton. "Now, we are providing our customers the chance to indulge in our guestroom experience in the comfort of their own homes."
