Hotel Company Changes Name

ATLANTA -- Holiday Hospitality changed its name to Bass Hotels & Resorts.

The hotel company, owned by U.K.-based Bass Plc, opted to change its name to "reflect its diverse portfolio," which includes the newly acquired Inter-Continental chain.

The 2,600-property Bass group includes the Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn Select, Holiday Inn SunSpree Resorts, Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn, Inter-Continental and Forum brands.
