InterContinental Dallas is now a Renaissance: Travel Weekly

The InterContinental Dallas has been rebranded as a Renaissance, Marriott International's upper-upscale brand.

The 35-year-old hotel was renamed the Renaissance Dallas Addison after Columbia Sussex recently acquired it. The company owns several hotels with Marriott International brands, including the Westin Atlanta Airport, Phoenix Marriott Tempe at the Buttes and JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot.

The 528-room hotel will be renovated with design touches to its furniture, art, lighting and finishes that will reflect the history of the area's local industries, including oil and cattle. The property will also rebrand its restaurant and bar as the Noell JCT Restaurant & Lounge, a reference to Addison's original name of Noell Junction. Addison is about 13 miles north of central Dallas.
