Marriott's Westin Hotels & Resorts has opened its first all-inclusive in Mexico: The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort.
Fresh off a multimillion-dollar revamp, the property is a conversion of the former Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta.
The resort on Banderas Bay features 281 rooms, including new adults-only swim-up junior suites, which connect to ground-level water "pathways" and include access to the Playa Dip Club, a swim-up area with curated bites and cocktails.
Additional room categories include sky pool suites with private plunge pools, family studios featuring kitchenettes, a multilevel penthouse and a presidential suite with bay views.
The resort offers 10 food and beverage concepts located within an open-air "social hub" area called the Gourmet Gallery. Venues include the Japanese eatery Tanto, mezcal tasting bar Agave Studio and the street food-inspired concept Call Me Lalo Taqueria.
The property is also home to a Heavenly Spa by Westin, a WestinWorkout Fitness Studio, two redesigned pools, new pickleball and padel courts and more than 11,800 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
The Westin Playa Vallarta joins The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa in Costa Rica and The Westin Porto de Galinhas, an All-Inclusive Resort in Brazil within Westin's all-inclusive portfolio.
