WASHINGTON --
Marriott International said more than 400 of its moderately-priced
Fairfield Inn branded hotels now offer free high-speed Internet
access.
Marriott said it
believes that the Internet service will provide the Fairfield brand
with a competitive edge.
When business
travelers decide where to stay, the decision often comes down to
high-speed Internet access, and providing that service free at all
our hotels means more guests will choose Fairfield Inn, said Liam
Brown, senior vice president, Fairfield Inn by Marriott.
Fairfield joins
other Marriott brands, including Courtyard, Residence Inn,
TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites that are wired for
high-speed Internet access. All told, Marriott offers high-speed
Internet access at more than 2,200 of its properties
worldwide.
