The health crisis in New York City has subsided, but that hasn't helped its hoteliers.
Continue ReadingThe storied 189-room property, located on the corner of Madison Avenue and 76th Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side, is celebrating the 90th anniversary of its November 1930 opening. Its recent guestroom renovations, which have been underway for nearly three years, are nearing completion.
The opening will be phased. Dining operations -- including Bemelmans Bar, Cafe Carlyle, the Gallery and the Carlyle Restaurant -- will remain closed until further notice.
The Carlyle will also open with Rosewood Hotel Group's health and safety program, Commitment to Care, with heightened safety and sanitation standards to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
