Palladium Hotels & Resorts has rebranded its two
adults-only properties. The Royal Suites by Palladium is now TRS Hotels.
TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and TRS
Yucatan in Mexico's Riviera Maya will be joined by TRS Coral Hotel in Costa
Mujeres near Cancun in the fall of 2018.
The TRS resorts will be independent of the 10 Grand
Palladium properties in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Mexico but will
remain under the Palladium Hotels & Resorts umbrella.
The rebranding is accompanied by an increase in staff, more
training programs and new amenities such as guest rooms with swim-up pools and
dinner-and-a-show themed restaurants, putting TRS in a higher price category than
Grand Palladium.
TRS Yucatan will be renovated and upgraded from July 1 to
Nov. 15, but will remain open during the renovations. TRS Turquesa plans to add
a beach club by Dec. 1.
