The Pan Pacific Singapore will shut down this weekend for at least four months, as the 790-room property will receive an $80 million renovation, the largest since the hotel opened in 1987.
About 150 rooms and the hotel’s first-floor public areas will reopen in August, while the rest of the hotel will be fully operational by September.
Australia-based interior-design firm Chada will oversee upgrades to guestrooms, the lobby and restaurants as well as the new Pacific Club atop the hotel on the 38th floor.
