Rosewood Hotels debuts luxury resort in Florida

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has opened Acqualina, the luxury hotel operators first beachfront resort in the U.S.

Located in Sunny Isles, Fla., between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, the 97-room Acqualina resort features rooms with private terraces, three pools and a gourmet restaurant.

It is also the latest in Rosewood Hotels growing portfolio of luxury properties that includes The Carlyle hotel in New York, The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas, and the Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, N.M., as well as Las Ventanas al Paraiso, in Los Cabos, Mexico, and Caribbean resorts Caneel Bay in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands; Jumby Bay in Antigua, and Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands.

Additionally, Rosewood recently signed on to manage San Ysidro Ranch, a resort in Montecito, Calif., owned by Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts.
