Capella Hotels & Resorts on Monday opened its New York property, the Setai Fifth Avenue.
Located between 36th and 37th Streets, Setai Fifth Avenue has 157 guest rooms that are among the largest in the city at 700 square feet. It will also have 54 apartment suites, three penthouse apartments as well as condominiums on the tower’s top floors.
The property is being managed by Capella, which was created five years ago by former Ritz-Carlton president Horst Schulze. The brand has small properties that focus on providing high service levels. It is Capella’s first New York hotel and third urban property worldwide.
The hotel was developed by Bizzi & Partners Development.
