The Grand Oasis Sens will convert to the Now Emerald Cancun after a renovation.

Two Oasis resorts in the Mexican Caribbean will be reflagged under AMResorts' Now and Sunscape brands.

The 427-room Grand Oasis Sens in Cancun will be rebranded the Now Emerald Cancun, and the 360-room Grand Oasis Tulum will reopen as the Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa.

After undergoing renovations, the resorts will convert to the AMResorts brands on June 1. Now and Sunscape both are positioned as all-inclusive brands for families.

AMResorts said the agreement was made in partnership with Oasis Hotels & Resorts.

The move reduces the Oasis brand's footprint to 10 hotels in the Mexican Caribbean.

The rapidly expanding AMResorts plans to open the Now Natura Riviera Cancun later this year. AMResorts currently has around 20 resorts throughout the Mexican Caribbean region.
