World Travel Holdings has agreed to fulfill cruise bookings for Orbitz and CheapTickets. Orbitz Worldwide, parent of the two online travel retailers, said World Travel Holdings will help the sites prepare for expected double-digit growth in cruise bookings through 2009.

Under the agreement, World Travel Holdings will provide a large inventory for Orbitz and CheapTickets, enabling customers to pick from 155 ships operated by 18 cruise lines.

In addition to inventory, the agreement provides for discounted rates and value-added services, including 24-7 support from telesales staff and experts in group cruises; special discounts to repeat customers; more detailed information on itineraries, deck layouts and dining; and 360-degree visuals for staterooms and common areas.
