Luxury experiential travel company AndBeyond is adding South America to its existing product offerings in Africa and Asia, with a new division called AndBeyond South America.

AndBeyond South America's first office will open on July 15 in Santiago, Chile, and will offer luxury tour operating and destination management services to guests traveling to the country.

By Aug. 15, AndBeyond plans on expanding its services to Argentina. By mid-2016, AndBeyond South America will further expand to offer luxury touring services in Peru and Ecuador, including Machu Picchu, the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon.

AndBeyond South America will be led by Managing Director Pedro Barraza, who will report to the regional managing director for East Africa, South Asia and South America, Mark Wheeler.

Initially, AndBeyond will operate as a full-service, luxury destination management company, but is also exploring other opportunities in South America such as luxury experiential lodges, blue ocean ships in the Galapagos and river ships on the Amazon.

Established in 1991, the Johannesburg, South Africa-based AndBeyond operates upscale safaris in 15 African countries as well as in India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and the Maldives. The company also owns and operates 33 lodges and camps in Africa and India.
