Apple Vacations is paying 5% commission on all published air-inclusive packages, regardless of carrier, destination, class of service or travel dates.

Formerly, the Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based packager did not pay commission on most of its published air packages, with the exception of a few routes.

Now, however, Apple is paying on packages that include the 26 published air carriers it works with including United, American, Frontier, Delta, Jet Blue, Virgin America, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

The new policy, which was effective June 14, pays 5% commission on the air portion of all published airline packages for new bookings to Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Panama and Europe.

Earned commissions apply to land, charter, risk block air and select contracted bulk scheduled air packages, as well as to the land portion of all published airline packages. Earned commission does not apply to air only bookings, Apple Saver or Square Deal packages.
