Billings, Mont.-based tour operator Austin Adventures is offering advisors 50% commission at the time of booking for a limited time.
New bookings in 2021 made by June 1 are valid for the promotion, part of what the tour operator calls a "two-part stimulus program for travel professionals."
In addition to the early-pay commission program, Austin Adventures has set aside special departure dates for travel advisors and their clients this year. If an advisor books 10 customers to travel with them, they will get commission in addition to free travel for themselves and a companion.
"We are in this together," said Dan Austin, founder and CEO of Austin Adventures. "We know many agents were hit every bit as hard as we were, and many have worked to support their customers with no revenue associated with the effort. We wanted to do our part to recognize and support the travel professional community as well as to help our friends get back on their feet."
Austin Adventures specializes in small-group tours and custom adventure trips.
