Busabout, a brand owned by The Travel Corporation that
specializes in flexible travel itineraries, has launched a U.S. and Canada
program.
Busabout's North American tours gives clients two options. They
can create their own itinerary using the operator's hop-on hop-off coaches on
the U.S. West Coast, or they can choose from among the 11 guided adventure
trips.
The West Coast Hop-on Hop-off Pass gives clients access to
eight destinations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, South Lake Tahoe,
Santa Barbara, San Diego, Yosemite National Park and Mammoth Lakes. Coaches
depart from all eight destinations every other day between June and August
2019. Clients can change their coach departure up to 24 hours in advance
(subject to availability). The West Coast Hop-on Hop-off Unlimited Pass is
priced at $559 per person.
Busabout offers one recommended accommodations provider at
each stop and access to many others, but with the Hop-on Hop-off Pass, clients
book and pay for their own accommodations.
"We're so excited to bring Busabout's flexible style of
travel to North America for the very first time -- it's the ultimate road trip
destination," stated Duncan Robertson, managing director of Busabout.
The 11 adventure tours range in length from three days to
three weeks, and include accommodations, daily breakfast, all coach
transportation, a Busabout guide and driver, and a number of included
experiences as well as plenty of free time. Clients can cross the continent, or
explore one area in-depth. Example itineraries include the 22-day West to East
Road Trip, the nine-day Southern Blues Adventure, and the weeklong Canada
Rockies Adventure. Adventures start at $699 per person.
In the past, Busabout has partnered with European music
festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra and Sziget to create packages with
festival tickets. The tour operator is planning to do the same for Busabout's
USA program.
