PARIS -- Club Mediterranee reached an agreement with the
shareholders of the French tour operator Jet Tours to acquire the
company for $77 million in cash. Jet Tours, formerly owned by Air
France and owned by two private groups since May 1998, is the
third-largest tour operator in France.
