Upscale tour operator Cox & Kings has opened an office in New York, following recent hires intended to increase U.S. sales presence.
Heading up the expansion is the new vice
president of marketing, Jared Alster. Most recently, Alster was a co-founder of
startup Stride Travel, a marketplace designed to bring together aspiring
world travelers with adventure travel companies. Prior to that, Alster was
director of marketing for Intrepid Travel.
Also calling the New York office home is Yasmin Mana, who
joined Cox & Kings last year as director of sales, east. In this role, Mana
oversees and fosters the company's relationships with the travel agent
community along the East Coast.
Cox & Kings plans to continue to grow its team in an
effort to bolster relationships with the travel agency community. As the
company grows in 2018 and beyond, there are plans to accommodate additional staff
in the new Manhattan space.
Cox & Kings, The Americas is a member of the family of
brands under the global Cox & Kings umbrella, which has its global
headquarters in Mumbai.
