Private Tours of Washington (PTW) has created an Inaugural Trump Tour of the capital during the week leading up to president-elect Donald Trump's inauguration.
The Trump Tour will be available Jan. 12 to 19; the inauguration will take place on Jan. 20. The tour was created by author and former stand-up comic Bill Thomas to explore what PTW describes as "Donald Trump's Washington in a style befitting the wealthiest chief executive in American history."
Some of the tour's highlights include visiting the West Front of the Capitol Building, where Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States; visiting the new Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue; a trip to the White House and the West Wing to see the Oval Office; the Pentagon, headquarters of General James "Mad Dog" Mattis (Ret.), Trump's new secretary of defense; Embassy Row, including the Russian Embassy and nearby FBI "listening post;" and the Four Seasons, where PTW notes that Marla Maples once threw her $250,000 engagement ring and her high heels at Donald Trump, announcing, "I'll never marry you!"
The Trump Tour will take place in a chauffeured car, with pricing starting at $465 for one or two guests, $565 for three to five guests and $685 for six to 12 guests.
Private Tours of Washington, based in the District of Columbia, was founded by Thomas in 2013 with the stated mission of providing "discerning guests with smart, witty and thoroughly unforgettable tours of the Nation's Capital."
