ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Destination Europe Resources here is paying $15
in bonus commission through Dec. 31 to travel agents who book both
a weekly European auto rental and $100 worth of other product on
the same day.
In addition, DER is discounting all car rentals booked by Nov.
30 by 10%; the company pays 15% on both auto rental and the
value-added tax.
Other commissionable DER products include railpasses and tickets
-- which earn 8% pay (9% for BritRail) -- and hotels, city-stay
packages, sightseeing excursions and ski vacations in Europe, which
pay 10%; DER also sells discounted net consolidator airfares to 300
destinations worldwide.
