Gogo Vacations has introduced an agent rewards program — a first for the company — that recognizes loyalty with bonuses, increased commissions, trips, airline tickets and gift cards, among other benefits. 

The new program, called Gogo Rewards, was developed in response to agent feedback. In the past, the wholesaler has had partner-specific incentives, but not a rewards program for all bookings.

It will be a “fluid program that will vary monthly so that our customer base has a variety of ways to reap the benefits of booking with Gogo Vacations,” said John Van den Heuvel, president of Gogo Vacations. 

Van den Heuvel said that rather than having a static points-based program, “some months might be sweepstakes-based, other times [agents will have access to] bonus commissions, exclusive booking offers or free trips. There is no ‘typical’ month for any given travel agency, so we wanted to deliver an atypical loyalty program that can be ever-changing to address various markets, travel patterns and seasonality.”

To kick off the program, all June bookings (for travel through August 31, 2016) qualify agents to win one of several prizes, including a $500 gift card.

Gogo Rewards will unveil perks and redemption parameters each month.
