TORRANCE, Calif. -- Although some companies may be shying away from
parts of Asia, Intrepid Travel is digging in deeper.
The Aussie operator introduced a 10-night Bhutan adventure
called Bhutan: The Land of the Thunder Dragon.
The trip, which will begin in Bangkok, will take in mountains,
monasteries and museums; the Bhutan capital city Thimpu; as well as
the annual Wangdi Teschu festival.
The tour departs Sept. 27 with a land-only price of $2,860 per
person, double occupancy.
