NPCA lays out 2001 tours: Travel Weekly

WASHINGTON -- The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) announced its national park tour schedule for 2001.

The annual Parkscapes Tour Program is the only travel program dedicated solely to showcasing America's national parks, according to the NPCA.

Next year's schedule of 21 trips includes a late summer walking weekend in Glacier National Park accompanied by a naturalist; a Yellowstone winter trip; a tour of Hawaiian national parks led by an NPCA board member; a family-style getaway in Grand Teton National Park, and a trip to some of New England's park sites.

Parkscapes also offers history-based trips, including an expedition on the ship Sea Bird as it follows the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail along the Columbia and Snake rivers.
