MLT Vacations is enabling agents to earn points redeemable for personal travel, if they earn at least 2,500 points in a quarter.
The new Rewards-to-Go program awards points on all booked air-hotel packages of at least three nights. One point is earned for every $5 in gross revenue. There are no blackout dates for reward travel, MLT said.
Points can be earned and redeemed with all brands managed by MLT Vacations, including Delta Vacations, Air France Holidays, Alitalia Vacations and Aeromexico Vacations. At the end of each quarter, points will be tallied and electronic gift cards issued.
To enroll, travel agents must visit MLT’s agent booking portal, WorldAgent Direct, and create a new user profile or update an existing profile.
Enrollment capability will begin in February, but bookings made from Jan. 1, 2014, are eligible toward reward totals.
Previously, MLT enabled agents to earn points and redeem them for travel, but agents could earn them only during certain promotional periods.
