NORWALK, Conn. --
One year after entering the tours market in Russia with its most
successful product launch in five years, Tauck World Discovery
expanded its product offerings for the destination to accommodate
what it characterizes as soaring customer demand.
Initially Tauck
tried to add more departures of its 13-night St. Petersburg, Moscow
& the Baltics trip, but ran into some snags with availability.
So instead it devised a seven-night Russia itinerary that hits many
of the highlights of the longer trip.
A Week in Russia is
the 10th in the operators series of trips that target travelers who
cannot, or do not want to get away for much more than a week. The
land price of the tour is $3,080 per person, double
occupancy.
