ARLINGTON, Va. -- ARC said staring May 15 it would charge a new $25
administrative processing fee for all branch and satellite ticket
printer locations being voluntarily deleted.
ARC said the fee would not be applied to the deletion of home
office and independent locations.
Voluntary cancellations are "a fairly labor intensive process,"
an ARC spokesman explained, that involves for instance, updating
ARC databases.
"So to reflect the costs, there is a nominal fee attached to
it," the spokesman said.
ARC's monthly sales reports indicate the increased popularity of
electronic tickets is supplanting the need for satellite ticket
printer locations.
