ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Delegates to the 69th annual ASTA World Travel
Congress in Strasbourg, France, Nov. 7 to 12 can wine and dine
around the country with a selection of pre- and post-Congress
tours.

profiling the vast array of tours planned for the Alsace region and

offerings.The pre-ASTA tour departs Nov. 3 while the post-ASTA tour

The itinerary is a hiking and biking tour of the Alsace region.

several World War II sites, including Omaha Beach, Bayeux, Caen,

DER readies Germany trips
ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Trips in nearby Germany, offered by DER
Travel, are available to delegates attending the ASTA World Travel
Congress.
DER Travel created two pre-Congress tours, beginning Nov. 3, and
two post-Congress tours, beginning Nov. 13. All are three-night
itineraries.
The land tours are priced at $399 per person, double, covering

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Pre- and post-congress tours are not the only
way agents attending ASTA's 69th annual World Travel Congress can
see Strasbourg and surrounding areas.
Strategyc Voyages is offering a selection of full-day and
half-day tours for delegates.
All delegates will have a choice of one full day tour on Nov. 12
and one half-day tour on either Nov. 10 or 11. The tours are
included in the congress registration fees.
The full-day tours will provide time for visiting a combination
of two of sites, including the Alsace Open Air Museum in
Ungersheim; the Printed Textile Museum in Mulhouse and the
Wallpaper Museum in Rixheim.
Half-day itineraries include a Strasbourg city tour, a cruise on
the river Ill around Strasbourg or visits to two museums in
Strasbourg.
Other options for half-day tours include excursions to Obernai,
Mont Sainte Odile, Barr, Saverne, Bouxwiller, Soufflenheim,
