Collette is launching a new rewards program for its travel advisors that will encourage them to travel with the company when they book tours through Collette.
The Travel Advisor Program will reward advisors for booking more travelers on Collette tours. Advisors can earn deep discounts on Collette tours for their own trips when they book a certain number of travelers in a calendar year.
Reduced rates start at 50% off Collette land tours, and advisors will have the opportunity to increase that number to 100% if they book more than 40 travelers within a year. Advisors will also receive reduced rates for companions, starting at 25%.
"Our advisors are such a big part of what we do each and every day," said Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, president and chief customer experience officer at Collette. "We want to give them the opportunity to get out and explore the world, just like their travelers do. By offering this reward program, we not only allow them to do that, but also encourage them to share the gift of travel with more travelers."
To qualify for the discount program, participants must be working as a travel advisor with an active IATA number.\0x202F
Discounts earned are based on the following levels:
• Up to 8 traveled guests, 50% off land up to $2,000 and 25% off companion up to $1,000
• 9 to 19 traveled guests, 50% off land up to $2,500 and 25% off companion up to $1,500
• 20 to 39 traveled guests, 75% off land up to $3,000 and 25% off companion up to $2,000
• 40 to 49 traveled guests, 100% off land up to $3,500 and 50% off companion up to $2,500
• 50-plus travelers, 100% off land up to $5,000 and 50% off companion up to $2,500
Air discounts of 10% are available for both the travel advisor and their companion at all discount tier levels.
Discounts earned are per travel advisor and cannot be accrued across multiple advisors within a single office location, and they are applicable to the full land-only tour and extension price and not combinable with any other promotions or discounts. Group departures are not eligible to earn discounts.
Some tours and departure dates may be blacked out, like Antarctica, special events or any other products as deemed necessary by Collette.
Advisors who qualify will have the remainder of the sales year in which the discount was earned, plus an additional calendar year, to redeem the rewards. Rewards not redeemed within that time frame will be forfeited.
Space on tour departures is on a first-come, first-served basis.
