French river cruise line CroisiEurope
has updated its travel agent loyalty program, the Mon Ami Gold Club, to include
a new loyalty level that will give agents who sell five CroisiEurope cruises
within a single year 17% commission on all future CroisiEurope sales.
All agents that
register for the loyalty program will automatically become Mon Ami Gold
members, a status that will continue to offer agents CroisiEurope’s standard
15% commission rate. But now a second tier has been introduced,
Mon Ami Platinum membership, that offers qualifying agents the
opportunity to earn up to 17% commission.
Additionally,
CroisiEurope is offering agents who make 12 new bookings between May 15 and
December 31, 2015, a complimentary cruise for two.
“The travel agent
community has played an integral role in the success of CroisiEurope’s
expansion into the United States,” Nicola Iannone, CroisiEurope’s
executive vice president for the United State and Canada, said in a statement.
CroisiEurope opened a
call center in the U.S. in 2013 and has since established a stronger sales and
marketing presence stateside, including tapping Iannone last year.
The company currently
has 39 company-owned vessels in its fleet. Next year, that number will grow to
43 company-owned vessels with the addition of two new canal barges, the
80-passenger Elbe Princesse, and the 60-passenger Princesse Apsara on the
Mekong.
